💼 About This Role

You'll own the technical vision and architecture across all Novir platforms, writing production code while guiding other engineers. You'll leverage AI/agentic development tools to dramatically improve speed and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to build something incredible in an emerging diagnostic biotechnology company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write production code while guiding and leveling up engineers
• Design and build scalable, secure APIs and system integrations
• Partner with product, operations, and leadership on roadmap execution
• Establish best practices across code quality, deployment, and CI/CD

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience with increasing ownership
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack
• Experience with Node.js and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS – EC2, RDS, etc.)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a lead, staff, or founding engineer role
• Experience with patient tracking systems, EMRs/EHRs, lab integrations (HL7, FHIR, SFTP, API)
• Experience using AI-assisted/agentic coding tools
