💼 About This Role

You'll join Snowflake's Postgres team to build a world-class OLTP service that bridges with Snowflake's data platform and AI capabilities. You'll develop Postgres extensions and contribute to open source in a high-impact, multi-cloud environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Explore new database technologies and innovate to bring new capabilities to Postgres
• Design and develop Postgres extensions for differentiating features
• Identify and implement novel query optimization, transaction management, and data movement algorithms
• Analyze and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 7+ years of software engineering experience in high performance mission critical software
• Experience with Postgres internals and its extension framework
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, SQL, distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Fluency in C/C++
• Track record in high velocity engineering teams delivering products to market
