Description

You will develop highly reliable software systems that control thousands of satellites in low earth orbit, taking ownership from concept through on-orbit deployment. You'll work with interdisciplinary teams to build the next generation of satellite capabilities and partner directly with end customers to deliver quality products and data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Development experience in C, C++, or Rust
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs

Responsibilities

• Create highly reliable software systems that control thousands of satellites in low earth orbit
• See your software through from start to finish: from core needs to prototyping, development, testing, and on-orbit rollout
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to design and build next-generation satellite capabilities
• Work directly with end customers to deliver quality products and data
• Write high quality Linux-based C++ software for common processors and micro controllers
