Description

As a Senior SDET at AKKO, you will define test plans, build and maintain automated test suites using Cypress/TypeScript, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and perform exploratory manual testing to ensure high-quality digital insurance products.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software testing with strong grounding in functional/regression and test design techniques
• 3+ years focused on test automation including designing scalable frameworks and CI integration
• Proficiency with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with API testing (Postman/Newman, supertest, REST/GraphQL)
• Comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/GitLab), Git, and basic Docker

Responsibilities

• Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product/Engineering
• Build and maintain automated tests (Cypress/TypeScript) across E2E, integration, and API layers
• Implement and own CI/CD test gates (smoke/regression) with parallelization and clear pass/fail signals
• Perform targeted manual/exploratory testing for new features, edge cases, and UX flows
• Own post-deploy smoke testing and release sign-off for web and mobile apps
