Description

You will help build and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to ensure high-quality software for Airbnb's global platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design testable systems, improve test coverage, and drive engineering excellence across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of mobile development experience (or 2+ years with PhD) in fast-paced, high growth tech environment
• Demonstrable knowledge in Kotlin, Java and Espresso
• Demonstrated expertise in developing testability and test automation frameworks for Android at large scale
• Experience developing or testing distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on technical leadership leading projects and defining roadmaps
• Expertise developing solutions to ambiguous problems

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support quality of product workflows by developing and executing automated tests
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure robust test coverage for new features and releases
• Build, maintain, and support testing infrastructure, applications, environments, and tools
• Help build out the team, drive cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams
• Scale distributed applications in a highly-available 24x7 environment
• Work with cross-functional teams spanning design, product, data science, and research
