Description

You will assist in the financial close process, conduct financial analysis, ensure compliance with German GAAP (HGB), and support audits. You'll also review contracts, manage obligations and minimum guarantees, and drive process improvements within a global, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Fluent in English and German
• 10+ years accounting experience with increasing responsibility (company $500M+)
• Strong knowledge of German statutory accounting (HGB) with multi-entity, foreign transaction experience
• Oracle EBS or similar major ERP system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial close process including month-end journal entries and reconciliations
• Conduct financial analysis to support management and business partners
• Ensure compliance with German GAAP (HGB), support statutory financial statements and audits
• Assist in reviewing contract renewals, amendments, and new agreements from financial perspective
• Calculate and review contractual obligation payments and track minimum guarantees
