💼 About This Role

You'll define and enforce quality standards for internal systems and platform APIs at an AI-native commerce infrastructure company. You will lead cross-team alignment on reliability, performance, and security, and drive adoption through reviews, gates, and measurable compliance. This role owns the quality compliance loop and ensures internal services meet non-functional requirements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define quality standards for internal systems including reliability, performance, and security.
• Turn standards into service-level requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Run structured quality reviews (design, readiness, release) and post-incident follow-ups.
• Maintain CI/CD quality gates that enforce standards without slowing teams down.
• Establish API quality standards for public APIs and platform adapters.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in quality engineering or SDET roles in distributed systems.
• Strong ability to define engineering standards and drive adoption across teams.
• Solid understanding of non-functional requirements (reliability, performance, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD and quality gates and translating standards into automated checks.
• Experience testing and validating APIs (contract, integration, backward compatibility).

• Experience with contract testing tools like Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.
• Knowledge of security testing or observability platforms.
• Background in platform engineering or developer tooling.
