Description

You will ensure the health, safety, and optimal performance of a growing fleet of satellites, supporting diverse missions such as LEO constellations and interplanetary exploration. You'll leverage automation and software-driven solutions for efficient mission execution, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve ground and satellite capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (software, computer, electrical, aerospace, mechanical, or other technical engineering)
• 5+ years direct experience in space mission design, satellite subsystems, ground systems, spacecraft command control, or spacecraft operations
• Understanding of key spacecraft subsystems: attitude determination and control, electrical power systems, space-ground communications

Responsibilities

• Leverage automation for spacecraft operations, focusing on software-driven solutions
• Design, develop, and test ground software for long-term space operations
• Design, develop, and test flight software sequences and FDIR/telemetry configuration
• Maintain continuous integration and testing of operational code
• Develop test methods, data analysis, interface specifications, CONOPS, and design documents
