๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll drive reliability for Space programs at a defense tech company, embedding reliability into early product architecture and detailed design. You'll be the reliability champion throughout the development lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Lead FMEA efforts and implement product improvements for reliability.
  • Perform predictive reliability analysis (MTTF/MTBF) using industry standards.
  • Develop qualification test plans and execute test campaigns.
  • Conduct Weibull analysis from qualification and field data.
  • Partner with Quality and Manufacturing to embed reliability in production.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience as a Reliability or Design/Development Engineer.
  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with safety-critical hardware/software systems in defense or aerospace.
  • Expertise in FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, Weibull analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • M.S. Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with MIL-HDBK-217 Plus, MIL-STD-1916, or NASA standards.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Level.
