๐ผ About This Role
You'll drive reliability for Space programs at a defense tech company, embedding reliability into early product architecture and detailed design. You'll be the reliability champion throughout the development lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Lead FMEA efforts and implement product improvements for reliability.
- Perform predictive reliability analysis (MTTF/MTBF) using industry standards.
- Develop qualification test plans and execute test campaigns.
- Conduct Weibull analysis from qualification and field data.
- Partner with Quality and Manufacturing to embed reliability in production.
๐ Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience as a Reliability or Design/Development Engineer.
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with safety-critical hardware/software systems in defense or aerospace.
- Expertise in FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, Weibull analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.
โจ Nice to Have
- M.S. Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with MIL-HDBK-217 Plus, MIL-STD-1916, or NASA standards.
- Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Level.
