Description

As an Automation QA Engineer at Roku, you will develop automated tests and tools for Roku TVs, ensuring high-quality product launches. You'll work with cross-functional teams to enhance test coverage and reliability across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years Python programming experience
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Behave or Pytest-bdd
• 2+ years developing automated tests for embedded products
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, JIRA) and Linux

Responsibilities

• Utilize automated test tools and frameworks to validate correctness and performance of Roku devices
• Write automation tests, analyze failures, track defects, and communicate results
• Conduct code reviews focusing on testability, robustness, and performance
• Track and report test coverage across firmware components
• Triage bugs and extend automated tests to prevent future defects
