Description

You will own the design and implementation of a distributed cloud and on-premises system that enables users worldwide to develop, share, and deploy robotics capabilities. You'll work with a team to build a hub that empowers other teams, partners, and users, leveraging modern computing technologies to create a new way of deploying automation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years professional experience coding in Go, C++, or Python in team-based environments.
• Full stack development experience including server-side (Go, C++) and client-side (TypeScript/JavaScript) with modern web frameworks (Angular).
• Cloud development experience (Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, GCS, Firebase, Spanner, BigQuery).
• Self-directed learning of complex systems; eagerness to work outside current expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and build a new way of creating and deploying automation solutions using modern computing technologies.
• Build and support a community of developers collaborating to create next-generation robotic capabilities.
• Ground the platform in real-world, end-to-end applications deploying robotic hardware in industrial settings.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals in modern software development practices.
• Coordinate software development efforts across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
