Description
You will take full ownership of your territory, spending most of your time in the field meeting businesses, conducting live demos, and closing deals. You'll build pipeline from the ground up through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, and partnerships, helping local businesses grow using Square's ecosystem of software and hardware.
Requirements
- 3+ years full-cycle closing experience with field sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
- Ability to drive deals independently in fast-paced environment
- Business development experience (hunting, cold calling)
- Reliable transportation and live in the market
Responsibilities
- Spend ~80% of week in the field walking territory, engaging local businesses, driving 50-60 visits per week
- Run full-cycle self-sourced sales motion: generate leads, demo, close across Square's product suite
- Build trust-based relationships with local sellers and implement referral strategy
- Develop high-velocity pipeline via door-to-door, events, networking, and channel partnerships
- Maintain operational rigor in Salesforce: track activity, manage pipeline, forecast accurately
