💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting to prepare the organization for its first external audit and public market entry. Working closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, you'll navigate complex accounting topics and leverage AI tools to optimize workflows. This role offers a chance to shape financial processes in a growing AI company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation.
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnotes.
• Oversee external audit process and manage advisors.
• Establish workflows and controls for public-company operations.
• Leverage AI tools for research and workflow automation.

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA with Big 4 or national firm background.
• 8+ years of progressive technical accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles.
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch.
