💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and operate data systems for simulation outputs, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows across our proprietary cloud-based game engine, AtomEngine. Your work will enable scenario comparison, lineage, and explainability for military planning. You'll collaborate with simulation and AI engineers to turn complex systems into usable insight.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines for simulation outputs and telemetry
• Build and operate data storage systems optimized for scale and versioning
• Support analytics and ML workflows by exposing clean datasets and APIs
• Enable scenario comparison, lineage, and traceability across versions
• Define data contracts and schemas between simulation and downstream systems

📋 Requirements

• 3-7 years of professional data engineering experience
• Strong experience building production data pipelines (batch/streaming)
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one data processing framework
• Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Familiarity with DIS or HLA simulation standards
• Experience working with government agencies
• Experience with high-volume observability and logging solutions
