Description

As a Hospice CNA/STNA, you will provide personal care and support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, ensuring comfort and dignity. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, observing and reporting patient conditions, and traveling between Lebanon, Middletown, and Springboro.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 with 9th grade education; high school or GED preferred
• Active CNA/STNA certification on Ohio registry and CPR certification
• One year direct patient care experience in institutional or home care setting
• Valid driver's license with reliable, insured transportation in Ohio
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and needs of terminally ill

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care respecting patient rights and dignity
• Maintain a positive, professional manner
• Keep record of hospice STNA plan of care for each patient
• Observe, record, and report patient care, symptoms, and status changes
• Attend required in-services, meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings
