Description

You will lead the development of manufacturing and test processes for satellite sub-assemblies like sensors, instruments, actuators, batteries, and antennas. You'll own the relationship between production, design engineering, and supply chain, and provide input into hardware design to ensure delivery of flight-worthy hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing
• Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, or structural systems
• Experience writing test plans and procedures with go/no-go judgment
• Willingness to work extended hours/weekends and travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Define and manage assembly flow and test operations of satellite sub-assembly production area
• Enable day-to-day execution by eliminating blockers, slow-downs, and waste
• Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned
• Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions
• Scrutinize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability
