💼 About This Role

You'll join ARSIEM Corporation to support a government client as a Cyber Action Officer, managing cyber incidents through the lifecycle. You'll coordinate with stakeholders, track cases, and provide briefings to leadership. This role offers opportunities for growth in a mission-critical environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage cyber incidents through the incident response lifecycle.
• Create and maintain routine reporting in case management and ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for incident response.
• Track and update cases with accuracy and timeliness.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Incident Management, Cybersecurity, or related field (or HS with 7-9 years experience)
• 5+ years of directly relevant cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations experience
• Knowledge of incident response, threat hunting, and handling methodologies
• Knowledge of NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System and general attack stages

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with operational threat environments (script kiddies, nation-state sponsored)
• Knowledge of system and application security threats (e.g., buffer overflow, XSS, injections)
• Desired certifications: GCIH
