Description

You will architect, develop, deploy, and test software for the Fury autonomous air vehicle, including fire control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry. Collaboration with engineering disciplines and ownership of software roadmap are key. Work spans simulation, first flight, live operations, and fleet management.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in CS, Software Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• 1+ years working on Linux with C++, C, Rust, Python, Go, or Zig (including internship).
• Experience deploying containerized software via Docker or Kubernetes.
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and write software services for controlling payloads, sensors, and radios deployed to hardware.
• Integrate 3rd party hardware into a large air vehicle ecosystem.
• Test software-hardware integrations in virtualized and real-world environments.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Own and maintain parts of the software roadmap with detailed work breakdown and milestones.
