💼 About This Role

You'll join ARSIEM Corporation supporting a government client in Arlington, VA, as a Network Forensics Cybersecurity Analyst. Your core impact will be coordinating incident response investigations and analyzing malicious network activity. You'll leverage Splunk and deep TCP/IP knowledge to protect critical systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist the government lead in coordinating incident response investigations.
• Analyze identified malicious network activity to determine exploitation methods.
• Collect network intrusion artifacts and use data to enable mitigation.
• Perform real-time CND incident handling and forensic collections.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or related degree (or HS + 4-6 years experience).
• 2+ years of directly relevant experience in network investigations.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and standard protocols (ICMP, HTTP/S, DNS, etc.).
• Substantial knowledge of Splunk or other SIEMs.

• Proficiency with Wireshark and PCAP data carving.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments and virtualized systems.
• Relevant certifications: GCIA, GCIH, CEH, or GNFA.
