Description

You will lead the development and delivery of transportation projects from preliminary to final design, focusing on roadways, highways, and interstates in South Dakota and surrounding areas. You'll also participate in business development, coordinate staff activities, and support local, regional, and corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain one in South Dakota.
• Excellent communication, written, oral, and client relation skills.
• Experience interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Experience making presentations before elected officials and advisory boards.
• Strong organization and leadership skills including development of professional staff.
• Experience managing single and multi-discipline projects and professional teams.
• Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables.
• Experience with state and/or local public agencies.
• 10+ years of experience in design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of projects having local, state, and regional benefits.
• Participate in Business Development including networking, proposal preparation, and contracts.
• Coordinate staff activities to assure achieving goals of project budget, schedule, and quality.
