💼 About This Role

You'll lead the technical design and optimization of utility-scale energy storage systems, owning system sizing, electrical modeling, and technology selection to achieve lowest LCOE/LCOS. You'll partner with Development, Finance, and Construction to deliver bankable, cost-optimized solutions and directly influence PPA negotiations and project financing. This role offers a chance to drive impact across one of the industry's most ambitious growth platforms.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own system sizing, electrical modeling, and BOS design for ESS projects
• Optimize designs to achieve lowest LCOE/LCOS while ensuring reliability
• Guide cross-functional design alignment across Development, Land, and Finance
• Serve as technical lead in energy storage PPA negotiations

📋 Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years leading technical scope for utility-scale PV and/or battery storage projects
• Deep expertise in lithium-ion battery systems including chemistry and architecture
• Working knowledge of codes and standards like NEC, IBC, IFC, NFPA, UL

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with alternative storage technologies (flow batteries, hydrogen)
• Proficiency in scripting tools such as VBA, Matlab, Python
