Description

You will architect and build the next generation of Moveworks AI infrastructure, designing reliable foundational services and frameworks to enable seamless scaling and rapid feature development. You'll collaborate with machine learning, search, product, and other teams to influence the infrastructure roadmap, and improve observability, performance, and scalability of distributed systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience designing, building, and maintaining backend distributed systems
• Familiarity with Python, Golang, Java, or C++
• Experience with containers/Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience operating open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, Istio
• BS+ in computer science or related field

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core infrastructure including distributed key-value store, schema-less data store, authentication/authorization, event streaming, configuration management, rate limiting, circuit breaking, feature flags, A/B testing, traffic capture/replay
• Improve observability and reliability via distributed logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure
• Define metrics to measure microservices performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve scalability
• Deliver deadline-sensitive work interdependent with other engineering teams
