💼 About This Role

You'll design the GNC system for satellite buses at Apex, a fast-growing startup manufacturing spacecraft at scale. Your work will directly drive the architecture of our vehicle and enable commercial payload missions from earth observation to communications. This is a clean-sheet design opportunity with significant impact on a $200M-funded company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop GNC algorithms for attitude and orbit control
• Conduct dynamics analysis and simulations for performance evaluation
• Design and test control systems using reaction wheels, thrusters, torquers
• Collaborate with spacecraft and payload engineers on system integration

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Person status (ITAR)
• Bachelor's/Master's in Aerospace, EE, or related field
• 3-6 years professional GNC experience in satellite/aerospace
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python for numerical simulation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with STK or similar simulation tools
• Knowledge of CCSDS, ECSS, GPS/GNSS standards
• Familiarity with GNC sensors and actuators
