💼 About This Role

You'll be the critical interface between suppliers, customers, engineering, and finance at a robotics hardware startup with proven product-market fit. You'll immediately free up engineers currently spending 70% of their time on procurement, enabling them to focus on product design. Growth trajectory extends from tactical procurement into full operations leadership, including quality management and supplier strategy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Take over day-to-day procurement from engineers
• Manage supplier relationships across Germany and internationally
• Handle incoming goods control and coordinate payments
• Negotiate with larger suppliers and develop quality assurance processes

📋 Requirements

• Technical education background in engineering or technical apprenticeship
• Understanding of mechatronic components and ability to evaluate substitutes
• Several years in technical procurement for physical products
• Fluent German (C1/C2) and strong English (C1+)

✨ Nice to Have

• Automation, robotics, or mechatronics industry experience
• Quality management (QM/QA) background
• Existing supplier network in relevant categories
