Description
As a Leadership Core/Foundations Coach Sr. Associate, you will guide students through their foundational learning journey, provide academic support, assess their progress, and improve programme delivery. You will also facilitate onboarding for new coaches and serve as a liaison between departments.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or related field
- Experience leading or facilitating workshops, classes, or training programmes in higher education or professional development
- Proven track record in coaching or mentoring students or colleagues
- Experience in designing and developing curricula for educational programmes
- Demonstrated ability to support teams and facilitate induction or training
- Experience in analysing feedback and performance data to assess programme effectiveness
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong commitment to increasing educational access on the Continent
- Proficiency in utilising educational technologies and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent coaching and project management skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Organisational skills for coordinating events and managing operational tasks
- Based in Kigali, Rwanda (or willing to relocate)
Responsibilities
- Engage in the Leadership Core/Foundations programme induction and re-induction of other coaches
- Conduct administrative duties associated with managing other personnel
- Deliver student programme induction for Leadership Core/Foundations modules
- Provide academic and mission support to students individually and in groups
- Engage in assessment of students' summative submissions
- Contribute to annual programme review to ensure content is up-to-date
- Conduct regular student-staff consultative group meetings to capture feedback
- Review Learning Management System analytical reports to identify students needing intervention
- Implement modifications to learning materials and assessments
- Contribute to decision-making as a member of the assessment board
- Act as contact person between Leadership Core/Foundations and other specialisations
- Ensure safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults
