💼 About This Role

You'll build and evolve the data analytics platform at Spotify, powering internal and Music industry facing tools. Your work will directly impact how teams measure streaming counts and cloud resource usage. You'll collaborate with engineers to provide OLAP capabilities and ensure reliable data infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate backend services and OLAP data store (Druid) for analytics platform
• Develop internal tooling, libraries, and services to streamline integration patterns
• Advocate for best practices in service design, data modeling, and schema evolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver on product objectives

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience with distributed datastores and backend services
• Proficient in Java
• Understanding of data modeling and dimensional schemas
• Experience with OLAP databases or analytics warehouses (e.g., Druid, ClickHouse, BigQuery)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Druid
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
