💼 About This Role

You'll ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical PostgreSQL databases at Trendyol. You'll drive automation through Infrastructure as Code and mentor junior engineers. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale e-commerce systems with a collaborative team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform day-to-day database maintenance and proactive performance tuning.
• Manage capacity planning and triage incoming DB operations requests.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Handle backups, restores, and high-availability/disaster recovery operations.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years administering production PostgreSQL with high throughput.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL backup, recovery, replication, and performance tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Ansible, Terraform) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience running PostgreSQL on Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL Server to PostgreSQL migrations.
• Experience with OpenStack or VCloud infrastructure.
