Description

You will play a meaningful role supporting the Accounting function at Chime, participating in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Big 4 public accounting preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred with understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis at month-end close
• Document, implement and maintain accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
• Improve existing processes, suggest and implement automation improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on projects
• Support external audit requirements and financial reporting
