Description

As a Staff Network Engineer at Relativity Space, you'll architect and maintain the networking infrastructure for our metal additive manufacturing platform. You'll work hands-on with robotics, sensors, and edge compute devices, solving challenging network problems to enable cutting-edge rocket production.

Requirements

• Hands-on systems-level networking experience
• Expertise in designing and deploying local networks
• Ability to tune network performance for time-sensitive workloads
• Experience with debugging and monitoring network infrastructure
• Collaborative skills for multidisciplinary R&D teams

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance local networks across robotic cells and compute systems
• Collaborate with robotics and infrastructure teams for low-latency communication
• Configure and manage switches, routers, and wireless access points
• Interface with IT security to ensure compliance and enable R&D flexibility
• Own network documentation and standardization
