💼 About This Role

You'll build data infrastructure for robots operating in the real world at Foxglove, a robotics observability platform. You'll design and develop backend services and data processing pipelines for massive multimodal sensor data. This role offers high autonomy on a fast-growing team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Ingest massive volumes of sensor data via batch and realtime offload
• Provide low-latency random-access playback over live or recorded data
• Deploy multi-cloud architecture across GCP, AWS, and Azure
• Build systems to manage petabytes of multi-modal data reliably

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience writing production software
• Experience with a systems programming language like Rust, C++, C, Go, or Java
• Experience writing highly performant, memory-efficient code
• Experience with binary data serialization or network communication protocols

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles
• 1+ year experience using Rust professionally
• Experience with public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes
