You will build a should-cost workflow for key product subassemblies, connect it to the cost opportunity tracker, and use AI to identify savings opportunities and execution gaps. The goal is to leave the team with a simpler, more useful process for ongoing cost reduction.

Requirements

• Strong project ownership and ability to work through ambiguous problems
• Analytical skills to understand technical and cost tradeoffs
• Background in mechanical engineering or related field preferred
• Experience using AI tools to organize information and improve workflows
• Clear communication skills and ability to influence across functions

Responsibilities

• Build and test a should-cost workflow for high-impact module subassemblies
• Connect should-cost outputs to the cost opportunity tracker
• Simplify cost update processes across engineering and supply chain
• Create an AI-assisted review process to spot duplicates, outdated assumptions, and priority areas
