💼 About This Role

You'll own Altitude's compliance program from first principles, designing policies for onboarding businesses, monitoring transactions, and interfacing with regulators across US, EU, and other jurisdictions. You'll translate AML/CFT legislation into operational reality and prepare the company for licensing as stablecoin regulations evolve.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain AML/CFT compliance framework from first principles
• Create KYB policies balancing fraud prevention with onboarding speed
• Establish transaction monitoring rules and escalation protocols
• Own regulatory relationships and reporting obligations

📋 Requirements

• Deep understanding of AML/CFT legislation (US BSA/FinCEN, EU AMLDs, MiCA)
• Experience building compliance programs, not just operating within them
• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or crypto preferred
