You'll design and operate financial systems at the core of our benefits platform, including ledgering, transaction processing, and money movement. You'll own correctness and reliability for high-integrity systems handling real funds. This role is ideal for engineers with deep fintech and payments experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and operate ledgering, transaction processing, and decisioning systems.
• Build correct-by-design systems with idempotency and strong consistency.
• Integrate with external financial partners like processors and banks.
• Lead architectural decisions and improve resilience and observability.

📋 Requirements

• Experience building or operating financial systems like payments or banking infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of fintech and payments ecosystems including card networks and ledgering.
• Experience designing or working on a ledger system with double-entry accounting.
• Proficiency in Python and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with global money movement and multi-currency systems.
• Experience building real-time decisioning systems in production.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging and settlement flows.
