Description

You will work with semiconductor processing equipment to research, develop, and optimize thin film deposition processes for applications like logic, memory, and MEMS. You'll design experiments, interpret data, and contribute to technical publications and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• 0-2 years of professional work experience (or graduating Spring 2026)
• Experience with thin film deposition techniques (ALD, CVD, Epitaxy, PECVD, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials characterization techniques (XPS, SIMS, RBS, AFM, etc.)
• Background in electrical characterization for CMOS devices preferred

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and optimize unit processes for ALD, PEALD, Epitaxy, or PECVD
• Design and conduct experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM)
• Interpret complex experimental output and troubleshoot equipment problems
• Produce technical papers and generate Intellectual Property (IP)
• Collaborate with customers and central marketing to define requirements and execute demonstrations
