Description

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Cloud Apps team in Singapore, you will architect and scale distributed systems to support a rapidly growing robotaxi fleet, ensuring robust, low-latency performance and commercial-grade reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
• 8+ years of backend engineering experience at Staff or Lead level
• Deep knowledge of concurrency, database consistency, and microservices
• Experience with incident management and post-mortems
• Proficiency in Golang or Python and major cloud providers

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of distributed systems for fleet growth
• Implement high-availability patterns and comprehensive observability
• Own technical roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership
• Champion best practices in code quality, system design, and documentation
• Mentor senior engineers and shape engineering culture
