Description

You will lead spacecraft design and configuration, manage bills of material and change orders, develop best practices, teach others, and check engineering drawings. Your work ensures smooth transition from design to production for our advanced satellite systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a design role with expertise in mechanical CAD
• Experience with design and production of complex assemblies
• Robust knowledge of SolidWorks
• Working knowledge of PDM Administration
• Mastery of GD&T and engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration of top-level spacecraft assemblies in CAD and create/maintain BOMs for production transfer
• Develop and document best practices for design
• Teach and mentor others in design and drawing best practices
• Manage programs and procedures governing CAD interaction with PLM
• Check engineering drawings for components and systems
