Description

In this role, you will build, optimize, and define the future of global payroll operations at a fast-growing international tech company. You'll engineer a best-in-class global function that supports our talent in 17+ countries, ensuring operational excellence and scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing multi-country payroll (e.g., France, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, UK, Finland).
• Proven expertise in international jurisdictions, including benefits-in-kind and third-party payments.
• Demonstrable success in end-to-end process design and managing system/vendor migrations.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and operational roadmap for global payroll.
• Manage timely, accurate, and compliant payroll for 4 main European entities plus smaller global countries via local vendors.
• Assess current vendor partnerships and workflows to improve, automate, and simplify the approach.
• Conduct an end-to-end review to identify risks and implement globally consistent, yet locally relevant, processes.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure GL and monthly reporting are accurate and streamlined.
• Create standardized SOPs and process maps; recommend and execute system improvements.
• Monitor payroll KPIs and build mitigation strategies.
