Description

You will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region, including maintaining, diagnosing, installing components, and performing performance checks. This role is ideal for independent, self-starters willing to travel.

Requirements

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred, minimum one year
• Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods
• Willingness to drive long distances, work varied hours, and assume 24-hour on-call duty

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, install, and upgrade generators and components
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on generators
• Install fuel lines, water supply lines, pumps, wiring, and controls
• Respond promptly to generator alarms and be on-call 24/7 when assigned
• Perform work safely, using safety equipment and attending safety meetings
