💼 About This Role

You'll join the Compliance Team at a leading AI companionship platform, working on legal and compliance workflows guided by the Ethics & Compliance Officer. You'll own compliance with worldwide AI and e-commerce laws and handle day-to-day legal tasks like contract reviews and policy updates. This role offers a unique chance to develop expertise at the frontier of AI regulation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (DPAs, risk assessments).
• Conduct product and feature reviews for data protection and consumer rights.
• Handle standard IP issues and contract reviews (NDAs, licenses).
• Track and analyze relevant legal developments and regulatory guidance.

📋 Requirements

• Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor)
• 2-6 years experience as legal counsel or similar
• Experience with data protection law and contracts (DPAs, TIAs)
• Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English

• Full certification as an attorney / legal counsel
• Previous experience in AI compliance
• Fluency in additional languages
