💼 About This Role

You'll work inside Brighte's core financial system (finPOWER) alongside an internal expert, using AI tooling to decode existing scripts and build a knowledge base. Your contributions will directly bridge the gap between legacy logic and the modern stack. This is a rare chance to develop deep, high-value expertise in a system that drives the business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work within VB and C# codebase to investigate and implement changes
• Write and optimise SQL queries for financial data extraction
• Review system from user perspective to translate into technical improvements
• Document system behaviour, business logic, and investigation findings

📋 Requirements

• Understanding of VB Script
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Exposure to C# or willingness to learn
• Comfort navigating legacy systems

• Experience in financial services or fintech
• Familiarity with accounting concepts (reconciliation, ledgers, payments)
