Description

As a Solutions Engineer at Rootly, you'll guide customers on their journey to success with our incident management platform. You'll bring technical expertise to implementations and demos, develop best practices around Incident Management and On-Call, and collaborate across teams to drive product improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer with direct customer engagement
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and integration patterns
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers on implementing and adopting Rootly's incident management platform
  • Deliver technical demos and support customer implementations
  • Develop best practices around Incident Management and On-Call
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams
  • Drive technical conversations with engineering teams at customer organizations
