Description

You will design, develop, and test software for controlling and simulating SpaceX flight systems. You'll own all aspects of software development, engage with hardware teams, and work on autonomous flight software for Starship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, software engineering, or related; or 2+ years professional experience
• Proven skills in C++, Rust, or other systems programming language
• Experience with real-time embedded systems or distributed computing
• Strong focus on designing, architecting, and implementing bug-free software
• Willing to work long hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and simulations
• Own all aspects of software development: design, testing, integration
• Collaborate with engineering teams on launch and vehicle software
• Implement and debug software across application, OS, networking, firmware, simulation
• Follow and maintain high software standards and best practices
