Description

You will lead the architecture and development of GoDaddy's next-generation Commerce reporting platform, managing a team of 6 engineers. This role blends technical leadership (60%) with people and stakeholder management (40%), allowing you to shape both the platform and the team building it.

Requirements

• 5+ years people management experience managing teams of 5+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript backend development
• Proven track record designing and building data platform architectures including data warehousing, pipelines, and APIs
• Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, search technologies (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch), and OLAP databases

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of next-gen Commerce reporting platform including data warehousing, services layer, and API design
• Manage and grow a team of engineers fostering a collaborative, engineering-driven culture
• Drive technical decisions across full stack from data pipelines to APIs
• Partner with product teams and infrastructure teams to expand data access
• Manage delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining high engineering standards
