💼 About This Role

You'll be the founding recommendation data scientist at Suno, building music discovery systems from the ground up. You'll define how millions of users find and engage with music, combining recommendation system expertise with a creative understanding of what makes compelling music recommendations. This role offers the chance to shape a new medium at the fastest growing consumer entertainment company in AI music.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with product and growth leaders to define content discovery strategy and metrics.
• Analyze user behavior and content characteristics to prototype recommendation algorithms.
• Design and run rigorous experiments to measure impact on engagement and retention.
• Build evaluation frameworks for relevance, diversity, novelty, and satisfaction.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in data science or machine learning on recommendation systems.
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling.
• Experience designing and running experiments and deriving actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
