You'll own the technical side of every strategic deal as a partner to the sales and engineering teams. Your core impact will be guiding technical evaluations and leading POCs that prove Plain can deliver. This role is a chance to build the Solutions Engineering function from the ground up at a company redefining customer support.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Drive technical evaluation throughout the sales cycle
  • Lead technical evaluation of POCs from discovery to onboarding
  • Go deep on the product to guide complex customer use cases
  • Influence the roadmap by feeding structured signal to product and engineering

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 4+ years in solutions engineering or technical pre-sales at a SaaS company
  • Technical skills including APIs, SQL, webhooks, and system architecture
  • Experience with developer audience or complex technical product
  • Scrappy and creative problem-solving mindset

  • Experience in pre- and post-sales
  • Ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical buyers
