💼 About This Role

You'll develop build plans and assembly tooling for avionics harnesses on eVTOL aircraft. You'll drive continuous improvement in wire harness installation processes. This role supports FAA certification and production scale-up.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design production system for wire harness installation across assembly line.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for pre-installing harness components.
  • Optimize installation processes to enhance speed and repeatability.
  • Support FAA certification through process documentation.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in aerospace wire harness and EWIS design, installation, and manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting FAA-certified aircraft programs in production or certification environment.
  • Strong background in production system design and process optimization for aircraft wire harness installation.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience across prototype, certification, and production phases.
  • Familiarity with EWIS industry standards.
  • Experience with expanded copper foil (ECF) layers on composite structures.
