Description

You will lead SoFi's direct engagement with U.S. Congress and the Administration, develop advocacy strategies, manage relationships with trade associations and think tanks, and represent SoFi at policy events. Your work directly shapes legislation affecting our members and the fintech industry.

Requirements

• 8+ years in government affairs with direct lobbying focus
• Deep network in Washington D.C.
• Experience with political giving compliance and federal lobbying disclosure
• Working knowledge of fintech/financial services
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills

Responsibilities

• Lead direct advocacy with U.S. Congress and Administration
• Develop and execute targeted advocacy strategies
• Manage external portfolio of trade associations and consumer advocacy organizations
• Serve as spokesperson at legislative and policy events
• Provide strategic political advisory to internal teams
