💼 About This Role

You'll own the design and prototyping of flight hardware for new airframes, from concept through qualification. Your core impact is developing fluid and structural systems and owning the relationship between customer requirements and engineering teams. This role stands out for its extreme ownership and hands-on work at the in-house R&D lab.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and prototype new mechanical hardware
• Develop flow control devices and mechanisms
• Generate detailed drawings, specifications, and risk assessments
• Spearhead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aero, mech, etc.)
• 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design experience
• Strong understanding of engineering first principles (thermo, fluids, solids)

✨ Nice to Have

• 2+ years of professional aerospace/mechanical experience
• Experience with GD&T concepts
• Experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD
