💼 About This Role

You'll join SoFi's team to review and decision home equity and mortgage loan applications. You'll ensure each file is complete, accurate, and ready for closing, directly impacting members' financial journeys. This role offers strong collaboration with processors and clear credit decision-making in a supportive environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review loan applications and credit reports for risk assessment
• Evaluate and clear stipulations to maintain file momentum
• Analyze complex loan packages and render credit decisions
• Communicate with originators to obtain missing documentation

📋 Requirements

• 2 years of conventional loan underwriting experience
• Proficiency with DU and LP
• Experience analyzing self-employment income (Schedule C, K-1, corporate returns)
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and investor guidelines

• Home equity or manual underwriting experience
• Active CHUMS #, SAR, or VA credit authority
