You'll join the Developer Enablement team to build the platform behind Benchling's scientific applications. You'll design and ship developer APIs and event delivery systems that enable partners and scientists to create tools for groundbreaking research. This hands-on role offers flexibility to work on projects aligning with your interests, from AI-powered agents to high-throughput data APIs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Take ownership of projects from ideation to delivery.
• Design and implement robust APIs, services, and interfaces.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into solutions.
• Influence platform direction with creative solutions and new ideas.

📋 Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Prior software engineering internship.
• Strong problem-solving and iteration skills.
• Desire to own key pieces of product or platform.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience architecting high-throughput bulk data APIs (REST or gRPC).
